Beginner Drums (Ages 8–12) We make drumming fun from day one. Through weekly classes, we tour the kit—snare, kick, toms, hi‑hat, cymbals—and lock in a steady beat. We count 4/4, read note values and rests, and write simple drum tab. We build limb independence, rudiments, fills, and full‑song play‑throughs. By mid‑session we move from core skills to full songs. We use games like Simon Says and play‑along tracks to keep it lively. Small groups mean real feedback for every student. Milestones include your first groove, first fill, and first full song. We showcase student‑composed beats at the end of the class!
