Beginner Guitar Class (Ages 8–12) We get kids strumming real songs from week one! Over 16 weeks, we learn open chords (Em, C, Am, F, G, D), power chords, riffs, and steady strumming. We read tab and chord charts, tune up, and map the fretboard. Songs included are from artists like The Beatles, AC/DC, and many more. Games like Simon Says, Red Light/Green Light, and chord‑switch challenges keep it fun. Small groups mean personal feedback and easy ensemble play. Review weeks keep the pace friendly. Kids create their own progressions and share a low‑pressure mini concert at the end. Learn in Ayr or Hespeler/Cambridge.
